Lewes

Anchor drop at the Lightship Overfalls on the canal in Lewes with traditional big band music, bonfires, and hot chocolate starting at 11:30 on New Year's Eve. Join the Overfalls crew as we bring in the New Year by dropping our anchor. Make your resolutions as you watch our lighted anchor descend from the top of the mast to the deck while counting down to 2017. So join us for our sixth annual "Drop of the Anchor" as the whistle blasts and we welcome in the New Year. There will be toasty fires and hot chocolate to warm you up and seasonal music to keep you moving (bring your own libations). This event is weather dependent. We can handle cold and wind but, unlike our faithful Overfalls, not rain, ice and/or snow!Donations are appreciated.
