FANTASTIC REALITY – A MOST UNUSUAL EXHIBITION
OPENING RECEPTION SAT, MAY 6 FROM 5-7 PM. CONTINUES UNTIL MAY 29.

How often do you find a married couple who are both artists? Not often; and we have TWO! And how often will the work presented beg the question: Is it FANTASY or REALITY? For these reasons alone this show is perhaps the most unusual we have ever mounted.
Donna Marie Daub tells stories through collages and assemblages, combining odd “bits and bobs” with personal observations. Dennis Daub creates drawings combining realistic elements with the fantastical. Brenda Kidera, a contemporary realist painter who is classically trained, takes a walk on the wild side using her imagination to combine realism with fantasy. Ed Kidera, metal sculpture, has a real love for “Steampunk” using recycled steel, copper and brass items salvaged from dumpsters, junk yards, flea markets and antique shops.

Exhibition runs from May 6 (opening reception from 5-7 p.m.) through May 29 at the Peninsula Gallery, 520 E. Savannah Rd. in Lewes. All images in the show can be viewed on the gallery website, www.peninsula-gallery.com.
